i had to vote for the jen and john nonsense - i think that it was a shocker for all of us to see them together in the first place, and i'm not sure that it was surprising that they broke up although some people were trying to pull for them to stay together and last.

i was beyond happy for rachel and ryan (i never expected that again) and i was super proud for michael phelps. i voted for rachel & ryan b/c i wasn't expecting that as much and i really felt phelps would nail it, which he did!

I had to vote for the Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer hook-up, then subsequent break-up. They just seemed like an odd match from the start, I couldn't believe they got together in the first place. I guess I shouldn't be surprised given Jen's track record...I mean, there was Adam Duritz (from the Counting Crows), Tate Donovan, Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor, and now John Mayer. She sure has an ecletic taste of guys, but I WAS surprised that John would date anyone other than a hot young starlet like he has in the past. Anyway...

I was really surprised that Ryan and Rachel got back together (!?!?!?!!?) but I was shocked that Gwen named her son Zuma. I just can't even picture her saying that name.

The real surprise will be if Britney looks like this 6 months from now.
And I wasn't surprised by John...he's a dabbler.

I was surprised about the Jen and John hook up and not surprised about the break up. That was just crazy on Jen's part. I knew that break up was coming considering his past. I don't see how any one else was shocked about the break up.

No matter how late a programming NBC placed Phelps viewers still flock to him. When swimming was over the ratings was not as strong during the Phelps TV viewing.
