6Thank God about Petra and James. Something about him (perhaps that creepy grin or that stalker song, "Beautiful") just seems off and his reputation (reported infidelities) just clinched it for me. I still think Petra hasn't healed just yet from losing her former fiance. So sad.

Clive Davis has always loved his Whitney. He made her and then she took a wrong turn, so he's just reclaiming his find. The man has an incredibly long list of musical talent discoveries, so he knows his stuff. But Mariah can sing with the best of them, so his comment is a tad off base and biased.
17Ohsuri I totally agree - everytime I hear his weird warble (I actually thought it was a woman the first few times I heard Beautiful) I have disliked James Blunt as a singer - and seeing him get to run around with the gorgeous Petra was just so very wrong.
And Sean Penn does need to quiet down...love how actors with almost no education (although he did study auto mechanics and speech at Santa Monica College...??) use their celebrity to push their opinions everywhere...especially when they just sound uneducated.

20Deba i agree Wisemen is a great song. It's my favorite from him. Nothing about him is sexy but those rock stars can get any chick they want especially when they write a song with the title "beautiful"
21As for scott weiland. I was the weird teenager who had such a huge crush on him- but he's so crazy. From the herion addiction to the non-stop fighting with his wife.

22Petra can do so much better than James Blunt! It's definitely his loss. I haven't liked him ever since I heard he dumped his long-time girlfriend as soon as he got famous and hot women started to flirt with him.
Whitney and Mariah both have great voices, but I think Mariah has a broader range and is more versatile. Clive shouldn't be pitting the too ladies against each other, it's pretty rude. If he wants to compliment Whitney he doesn't have to put someone elses talent down to do it.

I think Whitney has a stronger voice and is a more accomplished singer. I always thought Mariah needs a lot of studio tweaking, while Whitney could just belt it out anywhere if she had to.
