Even without Brad and George, the Venice Film Festival kept up the glitz, and last night the glamour got a little more gorgeous. It was a screening of Valentino: The Last Emperor that brought out all these gowns on the likes of Claire Danes on the arm of Hugh Dancy, Charlize Theron fresh from the DNC, stunning Elizabeth Hurley posing with Valentino, and Diane Kruger sadly without Josh Jackson. It's only right that a movie honoring the designer has such a marquee red carpet heating up the late Summer night in beautiful Italy.

1Does anyone else think Elizabeth Hurley's cleavage is a little weird looking? Something is off there....
2Ok, I know that dude with Elizabeth Hurley is very, very tanned so chances are it's either Valentino, Armani or George Hamilton, but in this case it happens to be her hubby. Who is about 150 years younger than Valentino!

11Diane so often looks like she was made to wear these dresses. She looks gorgeous. I've copied styles I've seen her wear on the street more often than I care to admit!
And I still like Claire Danes a lot. I have a few tops I got at cute boutique shops with hand painted designs that I love. I wasn't sure how I felt about that dress but it kind of reminds me of some of my favorite tops, so I guess in a weird way I like it.
