Michael Jackson celebrates his 50th birthday today and even did a phone interview with GMA to talk about what he's been up to lately. Besides having a low-key day, he said that he still has all his dance moves and has been composing new music. It seems like the reclusive star is starting to come out of his shell a little bit, and though you weren't excited about his upcoming clothing line, are you open to seeing more from Michael Jackson?

it depends
1Yes.
2It will be interesting to hear new music from him. I mean, he is STILL Michael Jackson!
3I love Michael Jackson's music so I want to see what else he has up his sleeve. Give the guy a chance, I mean he did sell millions and millions of records.
4ABSOLUTELY
michael jackson is the greatest pop star of all time. i've been a fan of the jackson 5 and michael my whole life. i probably wouldn't even be the kind of musician i am today without his music.
let's go let's gooooo
5I want to hear more MJ music!
And where is big happy 50 birthday coverage that Madonna got some days ago? Maybe he is troubled but he is a star - and artist bigger than Madonna IMO.
6Erm, I'm not too sure about this one. If it's good music, then totally, but other then that, absolute no no!
7no thanks , i'll pass
8Absolutely!!! I am still a fan!!!
9I pasted this link in Pop UK section, but I'll do it again here

it's a good but really sad text.
10Yes, but I'm not a fan. I'm just open minded.
11depends- you always want to see the fallen redeem themselves. so if its a full out well produced musical effort, then awesome. if it turns out like britney's vma performance last year- then pass
12I'm pretty indifferent. I love his old stuff, but he doesn't really seem relevant to me now.
But if he came out with something good, that would rock.
13I never liked much of his stuff that came out after about late 80's era. It just didn't appeal to me. Add to that all the speculation surrounding his personal life, his CLEARLY insane behavior and his nutjob family and I will never spend one more iota of my time on him.
14no child molesters should stay indoors and he should personally stay out of the spotlight or he will melt.
15no wacko jacko scares me!
16I love his music, I think he's brilliant, I just don't care to hear or see anything of him other than in his music and on stage.
17happy birthday 2 my Mike!!!
18i picked yes simply because it wouldn't bother me if he did. i think his pedophiliac proclivities will always overshadow the amount of success he's had.
19Let's face it that ship has sailed.
20It was one thing letting Madonna come back, and it was another to let Brittany and The Spice Girls back in too.
21But sadly, even though I loved his music, I think Michael should just stay far, far away from the spotlight.
Nope, I think his glory days are long gone. He was great in the 80s and early 90s, now he is just known for being uber-creepy.
22maybe - i think that he's still got something left in him -although i'm not the biggest fan ....we'll see what happens at the VMAs right?
23he should stay out of the spotlight
24Michael is the man, King of pop, music is the best thing he's got going, so I KNOW if anybody can come back, HE CAN. He's sold millions and millions of records and no one has been able to touch him musically or dance wise since he's left the music scene. We need Mike back, sorry.Jacko, Wacko, whatever.
25The only place I want to see this pedophile is behind bars.
26He is one of the most innovative dancers I've ever seen and I think if he could replicate the quality of his Thriller album, it would be very relevant (if only he could replicate his face from back then!)...although I would prefer he remain in exile; such as a certain renowned polish film director/producer/writer/actor.
27He creeps me out!
28I second Twinkle's comment. He's a freak.......
29its all gone downhill after the Jackson 5...
30I would LOVE to see MJ haven't seen him since the BAD TOUR..LOL
Whoa...I'm OLD!!
31No.
32ehh I can't see him cranking out anything great, but I'd like to see him succeed with that
33He still creeps me out, but I would want to hear new music. It would be interesting, that for sure. He's still Michael Jackson, like someone said. Just because he's creepy doesn't mean he doesn't have talent still.
34I love early MJ but now, I can't stop the jokes....plus there are elements about him that could be (notice I said "could") be so gross and horrible that he may just need to go away
35I said maybe. He does have talent and I enjoy his older music, but lately I am a bit unsure about him...
36Of course yes! Forget STILL being a fan, I'll always be his fan. Loved the new tracks on Thriller 25, but I hope his new album will be more like his HIStory or Invincible albums.
37there will never be another entertainer like Micheal Jackson. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
we love you Micheal
38I hope all you who made negative comments choke on your words now.You know he sees you and knows who you are and where you are.
39"I hope all you who made negative comments choke on your words now.You know he sees you and knows who you are and where you are."
He's got a lot of ground to cover if he's going to haunt everyone who hated him.
Being dead
doesn't change the fact that he acted inappropriately with children.
