Matthew McConaughey kept his promise to take baby Levi everywhere, showing him the ropes at his first football game at Texas Stadium on Saturday. Camila showed off her UT pride in her orange shirt, while even Levi got in the spirit snuggled up in his Longhorns hat — all of which was captured by daddy Matt snapping lots of photos. The weekend of fun didn't end there, and on Sunday MM moved on to running the Nike + Human Race in Austin before taking Camila and Levi to a Ben Harper show. Of adapting to his new party of three, MM called Camila the love of his life and said, "We have a little bit more prep-time put into going places and doing things, getting him ready and everything. But it's amazing."

7I'm glad they're bringing Levi wherever they go. He's snuggled up all safe and sound in his mama's carrier, so I don't think overstimulation is a problem. I have 3 kids myself and I take them everywhere I go, even when they were infants.

11chelle, I took mine everywhere too, but not to FOOTBALL games, (Because I didn't go while they were small). My 10 year old is going to go to his first one this Friday. I just don't think sporting events are the place for small infants.
I mean, I can't hear the person sitting NEXT to me at most football games, I can't IMAGINE how loud that would be to an itty bitty baby. That's my point, I mean, they give headphones at Monster Truck rally's for small kids right? Well, studies have shown that football games get louder than that.
Not criticizing you chelle, just saying that I don't think it's a good idea.

13Mykie7 - Oh don't worry about it. I know everyone's parenting style is different. But it seems to me that MM would be sitting in a luxury box rather than out in the stands. Or maybe MM is in the stands but Camilla is in the box. If that's the case, then it wouldn't be such a bad idea to bring the baby with them as he wouldn't be exposed to too much noise. Anyway, I'm hoping that's what happened

I couldn't take my little one to my team's football games. She'd love it because she loves all of the action, but there are fireworks at every game and it's incredibly loud. Not to mention, they're in Tempe, AZ and my poor little one would be so hot.

I've been to many UT games and seen Matt in his private box there at the stadium. It's above the crowds and out of the sun. Probably just fine for a baby--I bet Levi took a long, cool, quiet nap in there!

33My seats were right below his suite! So I got to see him! yay! The suite is super nice, so I doubt Levi even woke up! I love this pic of him taking a pic of mamma and the baby! So cute!
