Pete Wentz flashed a huge grin from behind his sunglasses as he and Ashlee made their way through LAX yesterday. As Ashlee continues her pregnancy, Pete's upcoming role as a dad has given him plenty to smile and gush about. He recently talked about singing the baby lullabies already and getting parenting advice from Joel Madden. He also joked about what sports teams the baby will root for, saying, "If my dad has anything to say about it, I'm sure he will be a Cubs fan. If my friends have anything to say about it, it will probably be a Sox fan. So, knowing me, it will probably come out a mathematician." Whether or not the new Wentz will be a sports fan or a star student, he or she will have some musical genes.

4Her auburn color is wearing off, so it looks like a pumpkin color look because she was born naturally blonde.

OMG Pete does not look like a father, you are soooo right, he does look like a cartoon character! He seems like he just wants a kid for public media reasons not because he is ready OMG I dont know what he was thinking! He may look like he wants to be a father, but he soooo isnt. I have seen this all of the time
6ashlee def is quite the preggo girl but she looks happy. i'm so glad to hear that these dads to be have been soo happy the entire time - first with joel and now with pete. it's a nice turn of events that these young rocker boys are able to become more mature with the addition of a little one.

8Looking like a father has nothing to do with being one. Just because he dresses a certain way doesn't mean he doesn't take fatherhood seriously. I think he is looking forward to the baby and they are a cute couple. That being said I hate skinny jeans on men.
9I think Pete has become less of a douche since being married to Ashley. I think they'll be fine parents since none of them have ended up in rehab like the other group of young celebs. (Just to make sure, I'm right, right?)

15What a contrast with adorable Isla's (natural) red (the pic/entry right above/after this one). Ashlee's fake red hair looks awful here and has looked awful since she did it (major clash with her skin tone and an unholy color). I cringe every time there's a pic of her - just ouch.
16oh please. The sports thing is a joke. Haven't you ever read anything Pete writes? He's actually pretty intelligent, as much as I hate to admit it. IIRC, his father is an attorney.
The sports thing is very much a Chicago thing and is a joke. When you grow up in Chicago, as I did, everything is about Cubs or Sox and which team you support. Its not taken uber seriously, but it is a long-standing tradition in Chicago to wear your baseball team allegiance on your sleeve and talk about raising your kids as a certain team supporter. Chicago is a HUGE sports town but that doesn't mean that's all we worry about.
