Lindsay took some time out of her very busy schedule to pick up some trinkets in Chinatown the other day. She's back on the west coast which should help her stay away from her recently released from prison father. We know LL's life is complicated but this girl has serious Daddy issues. Lindsay is going through great measures to make sure Michael stays far away from her including having extra security so he didn't crash one of her parties . Now LL has reached out to her Dad but it's not the Daddy's little girl reunion he hoped for. Page Six reports:
Lindsay told him, "You still haven't changed. Don't go near my mother ever again," a source told Page Six. "It wasn't the phone call Michael wanted." Michael had hoped to patch things up with his daughter. But after talking to her dad, "Lindsay called her mother [Dina] and told her to be careful and to take care of her brother and sister," said our source.
Michael blames all his troubles on a "con man" uncle, but we're sure he isn't any angel. Space from her father (and possibly crazy Dina, too) sounds like just what Lindsay needs.

19Funny, I thought rehab also helped you get over anger issues. Maybe it's the "immature" side of her, but a nice pleasant chat with her father might not be such a bad thing...but who am I!!!

21Both her parents have issues! Her mom obviously just cared about getting rich quick! And well her dad he's not all there as we like to say! Poor girl!

23I am seriously impressed. It seems to me that she realizes her father is not the greatest influence, and wants distance. Period. I respect her for having the courage to do that. As mean as it seems, he was arrested for drunk driving. Could her partying ways and his reason for jailtime be connected? I think so and maybe she does too. It sounds like she's trying to rid herself of negativity in her life.
24She could probably do that by maybe picking up a hobby other than clubbing, but it's a start. I hope this is the first step in putting her life back together.
