Britney Spears stepped out in LA last night, while the rest of us were getting excited for her upcoming appearance opening the VMAs on Sunday. We can't wait to see her on stage again, though it looks like she will be right back to fighting another legal battle when the show is over. At her hearing yesterday, the judge wouldn't dismiss her old charge for driving without a license, which means she could go on trial in October. This may not have been the outcome Britney was hoping for, but maybe all she needs are a few cheers from her fans and a finally winning a moonman to get her spirits up again.

Methinks it's just fair that she isn't getting out of her legal trouble too easily
She is the worst driver - she should get in some trouble, at least make her take driving leasons
I adore brit, but she really needs to have her license revoked permanently. She's got too many distractions to be a competent driver, she really does, and I think this is a good idea.
We all know she isn't a very good driver...
Yah, I agree she should have some sort of punishment for it. But its not like he can bring all of the other things that have happened into this case. She can't get in trouble for these things and also be punished again for the things that were dismissed already.
Good luck!
Wow a Brit post that isnt getting much attention. She's become so boring lately.
wow - i totally forgot about this one. i do think that the judge will see that she's really changing things in her life and that she's probably better off being sentances to driving school like nicole richie rather than anything else.
I think its healthy for her to deal with the consequences of her own actions! I hope she does have to take some type of driving course as well.
Good. She is a scary ass driver and needs to have her license taken away for good.
I'm still glad that she is getting her life together again!
