This week Bono joined fellow musicians Elton John and Paul McCartney in being named a Knight Commander of the British Empire. Unfortunately, because he's an Irish citizen he won't get the title of "sir." Luckily, he's already thought up a few good replacements, "You have permission to call me anything you want — except sir, all right?" he said. "Lord of lords, your demigodness, that'll do." Bono was joined at the ceremony in Dublin by his wife Ali and their children. His 5-year-old, John, was a little disappointed because he thought his dad was becoming a Jedi. So cute!

16He is sooo not gay. He and his wife have been married since way before he became famous. They have 4 kids (I'm pretty sure.) Very down to earth...Oh, yeah, and he is awesome. His wife is quite the do-gooder herself.
