i don't like the age difference, but lohan seems happy and grounded these days. it could work. it bothers me when one person is in their teens or early 20's and the other over 30. there is such a difference in matruity and life experiences. the opportunity to take advantage bothers me. like hayden and that guy she's dating or demi when ashton was younger.

I believe in Lindsays situation the age difference is great cause Samantha seems to have calmed her,she is more shy and quiet,also educated and lived around the world she knows the tricks.Lindsay was a spoiled brat and its been said for months that Samantha wont have it.Its pretty obvious Samantha has grounded her.

Lindsey seems a lot happier and healthier lately, so I guess this relationship is working for her. I've never been a fan of hers but I'm still happy for her and Sam.

Am I the only one who remembers that Samantha was supposed to be this horrible influence on her a year ago, and let the paps take pictures of her passed out? And that they smoke like chimneys together, and Samantha's a DJ, which means she works in clubs which Lindsay tags along to all the time and shouldn't BE at, because she's in recovery? I think everyone's doing the "good for her" responses because it's female on female and they're vaguely uncomfortable with it...personally I don't see how this is any different from any other relationship Lindsay has been in, except anatomically.

So happy for her. Finally in a healthy relationship. I'm crossing my fingers hoping this doesn't end in a horrible breakup Page Six nightmare.

I'm really happy for them. This is a relationship that has been ongoing for a very long time. Lindsay and Sam truly love each-other. In Hollywood people really don't want you to come out of the closet because they want you to appeal to boys. Lindsay has fought this out for while. The poor girl was fighting to be with Sam which is why I'm convinced she hit a downward spiral when she was doing drugs, DUI's, rehab, and countless other harming things to herself. As a Lesbian I'm proud to welcome her .We need a young Lesbian in Hollywood who is mainstream.

Even though I really dislike LL, I have never seen her as stable as she is with Sam. I think that she is been heart by all the mens in her life that I can't blame her.

Samantha was fighting with Lindsay about the drugs surrounding her set.Its wellknown many people around Lindsay didnt want Samantha cause she will fight and yell when she will see her drink heavily or take coke the night the crash happened that was the reason they fought Samantha got disgusted and left and Lindsay run behind her.Samanthas brother Mark has said on record that his sister is a nerd ,she reads too much books,she hasnt taken drugs since college and she rarely drinks heavily.She smokes heavily though.

You can be born gay: it means there is a change in your genes (a proven fact), when someone becomes besexual after being active heterosexual: it means he has a strong mental\personal issues + family issues. LL doesn't seem as a lesbian, I think she is dissapointed with people around her encluded her family, she obviously found "a different life" with SR,she ran away-but this is not the way to solve your problems.
One day she will be confident enough to feel "herself" again and SR will just loose her role....
I feel bad for SR in this case...

i just love these two together. to me, it feels extremely genuine and samantha has really calmed lindsay down. the more i read, hear or learn about sam, the more i like her, because even though she works as club, she seems very grounded. she knows what's important in life. i think she's showing lindsay what it means to have someone care about her and be there for her.

I like them together. I think that if LL was doing this for attention, she would be a lot more forthcoming about it and would display shows of affection like this more often. Whether or not it an "Anne Heche" thing has yet to be seen, but for the time being, good for her if she is happy.

btw, so what if lindsay wasn't born gay? that doesn't mean that she hasn't found someone special to share this moment of her life with. maybe it won't last forever, but a lot of relationships don't. i'm just glad she's happy and healthy

also, being androgynous and being gender-confused are two completely different things. just because samantha is boyish and androgynous doesn't mean she actually wants to be a man

If this is the real deal, I suppose it isn't out of the question that all her troubles with drinking/drugs could have stemmed from the fact she was confused and struggling with her sexual identity. Having a lot of partners (guys) at that time her life would also follow that pattern of behavior.

For some reason I have always rooted for Lindsay Lohan and I think deep down she's got real talent. It's what kept her out of the Paris category for me.

smooth55, i didn't say lindsay is gay, because how do any of us know whether she is or isn't?

what do you think a lover should do for you? because everything about their relationship feels real to me. they spend a lot of time together, they're there for each other emotionally, they support one another, when one of them is gone they miss each other, they love each other, and i'm pretty sure they're hot for each other too, just in private.

Shortly,she isn't gay because gays usualy identify themselfs as gays very quickly (they are not supposed to have reproductive instinct,because they are "nature's mestake" as a result they don't want to have a sex with opposite sex,what exclude them from a evolutional chain),even if they had heterosexual relationships before they don't enjoy it and they don't have a lot of heterosexual partners...

Yep.I agree.I also dont believe Lindsay is gay but i do believe she is very much in love with Samantha who is an open lesbian but also a woman who is stable strong quite and private.I also believe that their love deepened all these months and now they just cant keep their hands of each other.It became obvious as time went by.They stil remain reserved but now they are eager to show their love,especialy Lindsay who is the youngest.Samantha i believe knows how cruel and hard the world is and wants to protect her thats why she doesnt show much affections in public so they wont do anything that will hurt Lindsays future or career.

how do you know she hasn't always felt that she could be gay, but since society tell us that we're supposed to be heterosexual, she just followed that path? because it's expected of her, and it's so strongly instilled in us from childhood

i learned in a human sexuality class i took that for women, their sexual orientation might be more fluid, whereas men know their sexual orientation very early on, and it's more rigid. like, if they know they're straight, that's it. but for women, they say that it might fluctuate and they're not always sure

i think that this is a good thing. to be honest, everyone's always been out to sell their story about being with LL and SR isn't like that at all. she's been a great influence on her lately and they all seem to be really happy. i think that ti's the best thing that we can hope for.
