Harlow Madden may be too young for coffee, but that doesn't mean she couldn't have some fun making a toy out of a plastic cup while mom Nicole got her cool drink in NYC this morning. With Harlow in her sundress and Nicole looking hot in short shorts, the girls enjoyed the steamy late Summer day in Manhattan. Last night Joel hit the stage at a VMA afterparty in LA — more on that later — and it looks like his two favorite girls are having just as much fun all the way across the country. Nicole smiled pretty at the Donna Karan show this weekend, but nothing beats seeing this twosome out together.

I don't put shoes on my daughter, who is about Harlow's age. For starters, she doesn't need them. And she hates them. (How can she be my daughter??) Almost as much as she hates socks.
