Most of the ladies sparkled and shined on the VMA red carpet last night, but there were a handful of dresses that we didn't love as much as the others. Lauren Conrad is running away with the best dressed crown, but who do you think was the worst dressed on the VMA red carpet?

14It's funny that Nicky's look was a choice for Best Dressed on Fab and is considered a Worst Dressed on Pop. I guess it's all a matter of opinion. But I picked Solange as the worst... ugh!

32pink and christina's dresses fit them perfectly. lindsay's dress is 'whatever' - no one is looking at her clothes, they are looking at her amazing figure. solange = cute. she has a quirky taste in clothes to match her quirky personality - if you don't get that then i don't think she'd even care!
Tough choice but I had to go with Nicky. Hideous dress and super unflattering.

34MTV's parent company, Viacom has MTV listed as "for viewers 12 to 34." Knowing this they still put Russell Brand as the host. Even the first six minutes of his intro are inappropriate for a significant portion of that age range. I am all for free speech, but I am also for my freedom to react to that free speech. If you, like I was, are offended by this and the fact that MTV aired this here are some actions you can take.

38In all fairness to MTV & Russell Brand (who i thought was hilarious) there was a commercial with russell telling everyone who would get offended by things to watch something else! Its the VMA not the oscars its what they do they say inappropriate things!
39In all fairness to your opinion. Viacom advertises MTV as being for 12-34 year olds. That being said, just the first six minutes of his monologue were rated r. They new with the Jonas Brothers and miley cyrus they were going to pull in a younger audience. They have social responsibility. The same as any company.

44I think that christina was beautiful and pink... well, the striped dress is not for everyone, but she pulls it off amazingly.
45the other three... lindsay looked terrible, not only because of her dress, but because that fake tan makes her look like she's actually wearing a 40 year-old-addicted-to-plastic-surgery mask. she looks so worn out for her age! which is really unfortunate, because she's so pretty when she goes with a natural look.
and the other two have great bodies... why cover them up like that? so unflattering? I mean... nicky looks shapeless and her breasts look so droopy and pancaked... and solange's got great legs, but that doesn't change the fact that she's wearing a shirt that makes her look like a bizarre lamp.
I think Solange's outfit was the worst - it looked like a pink poncho. Nicky's and Lindsay's were dreadful too. I thought Pink and Christina's were dramatic, but they were true to their own style. Pink even said that it looked like a circus tent.
I didn't Russell Brand THAT offensive, but thats just my opinion. I think that the only comments he made that I balked at were the ones about masturbation, but (a.) either kids wouldn't understand what that meant, like my almost 12 year old sister who didn't even blink an eye because she didn't get it, or (b.) they have already done it. I think boys in particular have done that by the age of 12. But I am guessing that you are referring to the George W. Bush comment, which was a little harsh, but this was so tame compared to his usual stand-up act in the UK. Thats just my two cents
