Eh, that was okay. I think her back-up singers were louder than her. On people.com, it was said that the audience and the camera operators were scared that she was going to fall out of her top. I know she's proud of her D's or double D's, but she can still strap those babies in. My breasts are almost as big as hers and I still keep them more under wraps.

i think she looks fine. her music seems fine. i dont see this as such a big deal- dolly parton got by on her boobs and her voice, and so can jessica.

I can't bear to play this since I don't care for either Jessica Simpson OR Country Music, but I was always under the impression that the trashier/flashier look was in for many country singers, maybe Jess is trying to pay homage to Dolly Parton, etc? I mean, I get that the Faith Hill/Carrie Underwoods are moving away from that, but it seems to suit Jessica well. I just never imagined country music fans would be offended by boobage and short skirts. Seriously. I'm not trying to criticize country fans, but I always thought the bigger hair/bigger boobs look was classic in that genre. Anyway.

Dolly is her idol. Besides the fact that her top was very low cut, her skirt was pretty short and I think it was see through in some places. She needs to know her audience and dress appropriately. She's desperate again to be noticed, not for her singing but for her boobs! I was a fan but no longer. She's a sham. She doesn't get it.

SunshineDaydream- I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed the weird head movements! I remember seeing her on a Christmas special her and Nick did a few years back and she spazzed out like that when she sang as well, so I think it's just a really weird thing she does when she sings. But it's definitely distracting!
I agree she could have made a better and more conservative choice in her dress/look. and I think if she wants to earn respect in country music she needs to tone down the trashy look a bit.

Have any of you commenting about her boobage ever watched the Grand Ole Opry BEFORE this? Because I have, and mass amounts of boobage is NOT that uncommon. The dress however is a WEE bit too short. The women usually wear them a bit longer/fuller skirts. Dolly though has worn some OUTRAGEOUS low shirts. Talk about boobage! LOL I'm not saying that it's RIGHT, it's just that Jess isn't the first.

I don't care about her boobs one way or another. That dress is another matter. What a train wreck! Either the skirt should have been longer and more shapely, the dress less sparkly, or there should have been more up top. All three together is just too much. The plunge neckline on an otherwise elegant dress would have been fine. So many stars these days don't understand the concept of not giving it all away at once.
