Last year George Clooney was the sexy man gracing Vanity Fair's first ever "Green Issue." This year they upped the cuteness factor by placing Leo and the cute cub, Knut on the cover. The idea is to raise awareness of the wonderful things the world has to lose out on with the long term effects of global warming. We all know Leo is a cheerleader for all things to help make the world a more eco-friendly place. The man can do more than just act and look hot. As if we didn't already count down the days to get our VF in the mail, now we have another reason to want to check out this month's issue.

they're both looking so cute. i'm glad people are trying to raise awareness and addressing global warming. i was watching "an inconvenient truth" and the part about polar bears drowning due to the lack of ice blocks made me really sad

29they didn't fly the bear anywhere, those pics were taken at the zoo. & Private planes acctually use less fuel than commercial ones. they are smaller & don't need at much fuel & they don't have to poke around on the tarmack burning up fuel...
30I LOVE Leo & all the other celebs for at least trying to raise awareness about global climate change. Sure, some people just blow them off, but at least they are using their celebrity status for good & maybe one or two folks will pay attention

I was acctually responding to trippa's comment about flying the bear. and yes SOME private planes are jets, just as SOME of them are not. Not everyone who has a private plane has a jet. I'm just saying that not all people who have private planes are hypocrites...
