Considering how down to earth Jen always looks when she takes Violet to the park (urg, I use that phrase too much to describe her), it's always surprising to see those little reminders that she's a huge celebrity. You know, other than the whole being followed everywhere by photographers thing. On yesterday's trip to the playground Jen rocked her jeans, t-shirt, sneakers, North Face backpack and...$11,575 necklace. Oh, right, she makes millions of dollars a year...forgot about that.

16I think they have the theory that if they just go to the park all they want and wear jeans and regular clothes, pretty soon, it won't be any big deal and no one will follow them around taking picures. But she does enjoy taking that girl places like the park and the market, so good for her.

21Breast can become a lost asset when one becomes a mommy. Not always, but sometimes. On the other side of that are people like myself who had none going in but "got hooked up" because of pregnancy lol.

24I think Jen is one of the smartest women in the biz - she knows how to work her fame. She is seen in public daily with her daughter - which people love to see (including myself). People are suckers for kids!!! She wins lots of fans that way. Just think, her movie Catch and Release didn't do that well yet you don't hear people talking about that. She is close to the top of the popsugar list, however is it really due to talent, or is it because people love her family life? I'm not saying that she goes to the park for publicilty because as a stay at home mom we go to the park all the time, but some stars go to clubs to get attention - so it doesn't hurt her popularity either. If we didn't see these park pictures, would we be talking about her?

Jen's just a mom who happens to also be a celeb, and because of that she can't move around doing even the simpliest of things with her kid w/o a pap snapping her. I've never seen her in anything other than Alias, and for the most part, it is she and Ben's family life that I'm more drawn to.
26They do seem to be at the park a lot. Don't they live in LA? How about some beach pics, or the zoo, or something.
27Obviously she doesn't mind the paps, otherwise she wouldn't be at the park everyday. She probably has gotten used to them by now. But I have said this on other posts, how is it that the paps are there every single day? I have lived in NYC for 9 years and have seen plenty of moms and their kids at the park. Kelly Ripa is there all the time (more when her kids were younger) and Liv Tyler is also always with her son, but I never have been at the park when there are paps there taking their pictures too.
28You have to think that maybe someone's publicist called it in (as someone suggested to me on another post). I would love to see more of say Reese Witherspoon and her kids. I am also interested in Jen's family life more - I have seen all of her movies - she was definitely the best on Alias. I would like to see her in more action films - Electra didn't count.
IF she didn't not want the photos she would change it up and go to a different park. It keeps her in the public eye which is important for some stars that are better known for being likable then talent. Like Pacino vs. Jennifer. Pacino, known for talent, Jennifer, known for being a hot and likable. There is nothing wrong with that, but she has to maintain her public image.

34Violet is just enjoying so much park time.. i have two observations to make however.. first, couldnt jen still wear women's clothes? i mean they do make jeans and t-shirts for women. and another thing, does she always take violet to the same park? that'd get kind of boring :S
35Yea I think that park is in Brentwood near San Vicente Blvd. I really do like the Juicy sunglasses, I'm not too crazy about the necklace and the price is just ridiculous! hmmm..

42A lot of people I know who have kids and live in houses have swingsets and stuff in their yards. Just saying. I agree with whoever says her PR people must alert the paps because here in NYC, celebs are in the parks alot with their kids and you don't see pics of them much.
