I think we are all clued in as to why and how Britney got those awards (among many others in every other year)...it's all a part of the show. I think most people watch these award shows to see performances because why should fans care and how are their lives enhanced by someone else getting an award. It's obvious she needed some awards to keep marketing her...I just hope she gets help to learn how to appropriately be an adult and a mother.

3MTV definitely gave Britney those awards as a show of good faith and as an apology for almost single-handedly ruining her career last year. Piece of Me shouldn't have even been nominated because there's no merit in dancing in a bedroom, walking down the street with look-alike extras, and dancing in a bathroom.
