This weekend Will Farrell as Ricky Bobby was the movie on top. I hear it is hilarious. Coming in a close second is Step Up. Yes, another one of those dance movies you really didn't think would do so well made $21 million. Why you ask? America has become obsessed with hottie Channing Tatum. The cutey who used to date his old co-star, Amanda Bynes is now supposedly attached to his Step Up co-star, Jenna Dewan. Maybe that explains their amazing chemistry on-screen as well.

1Congrats to ChanChan. Someone posted a blog this weekend about the movie, sorry I forget who, and they said they enjoyed it. It differed from other movies in that the producers showed the entire dance sequence instead of clips of it. That, and the blogger said the movie had great music.
I plan on seeing it. I love watching dance sequences, love music, and think Channing is hot. Plus I dont mind cutesy teen movies, on the off-chance this turns into a sappy lovey dovey flick.
2Oh and I forgot, Sheetal, I think the dance sequences will rock because Channing has been a dancer for years (or so Ive read). He can not act, IMO, but he sure knows his way around the dance floor of a club!
3I'll see it for the dancing. Jenna Dewan is way hotter than Amanday Bynes IMO so I see why he likes her.
4I wanted to go see Step Up this weekend but I went to see Talladega Nights b'c everyone I was with wanted to see it and it was really funny but I'm surprised Step Up wasn't number 1 b'c it was completely sold out at the movie theatre I went to and the lines to get into that movie looked like they were a mile long. I hope I get to see Step Up next weekend.

I saw the movie and LOVED IT! He was very HOT in it. The dancing was awesome and he was a great actor in it, I mean for what it was anyways. I thought he was a much better actor than the girl. Mario the singer is also in it and he was a good actor also...go figure. Great movie even though predictable. Reminds you of the simple things and more real issues in life no one is trying to save the world in this its just a sweet story.

22I saw it over the weekend and I braced myself for cheesy dialogue and some good dancing. The movie was pretty predictable but the dancing was awesome. Dancing movies are my guilty pleasure. I love Center Stage.

35i don't think he ever dated amanda bynes. i know there was talk, but he was dating jenna dewan since during the filming of "she's the man." i like the thought of him with amanda though, i think she is really pretty and super funny. i don't care much for jenna, i don't think she is that attractive.

40Great memory Val! I am actually like 5'3 and 3/4 so I usually round up to 5'4. Half Panamian with thick, unruly coarse and naturally curly hair....HOWEVER....I am getting a Japanese Straightening Perm/Thermal Reconstruction on my hair September 1st so my hair will be nice and manageable....i cannot wait. Yes, trainer and cardio will help me become less potato-like
It's a long haul but will be well worth it

isn't it funny how women describe themselves? i think you sound fabulous and i'm sure there are people you see everyday that think the same thing (and that would kill for your hair). yet we see these men scratching themselves, bald, pickin their teeth, so gross in every visible way and they have the confidence to come on to any woman they see. why is that? another poll i suspose, lol.
