Someone isn't down with Madonna or her new collection at H&M and they took it out on a 250 square foot image in London on Tuesday. The vandals sabotaged the H&M ad by climbing the scaffolding it was attached to, cutting a hole in her eye and then pouring neon green paint through it. Supposedly it's being replaced any day now for an estimated $12,000. No one has taken credit for the vandalism, and at that price we doubt they ever will.

I actually like it. I always thought her tears would be acid
Anyways I think it adds visual interest to her rather boring snore fest of a photo shoot. It definitely brings attention to it
1lol. oops.
2I think it kind of adds a nice touch to it. Shame though, there's goes all that money.
3I'm with you Jess; it looks cool. Maybe if Madonna and her peeps took that stick out of their as*es then they would leave it. Art happens. I mean, they could have had that paint coming out somewhere else. I'm bad.
4I agree with JessNess...the splash of color makes the ad more interesting and it does a better job of catching and keeping your attention
5Too funny.
I can't belive someone took time out of thier day just to do this, and for what? They will never own up to it, and if they are smart they won't be talking about it.
At least they didn't draw a mustache.
6Tina334 posted this the other day...my comment is there
7Uh they should TOTALLY keep the billboard up.
It's different, just like Madonna.
And controversial, just like Madonna.
And unlike the bland colors used for the H&M collection, its colorful.
8It looks wickedddd, maaaan. Madonna is a tite-azz. Whoever did it, amen!
9it was proberly jus people going down london for friday night and got pissed, kind of gives it a retro look hehe
10Bad painters!!!!

I like it! Its reminiscent of the Merry Pranksters!
12haha this is just around the corner from my flat, might have to go and have a look
13Madonna has become such a tightass. Loosen up, beeyotch

14I will be your Dixie Chicken if you'll be my Tennessee Lamb and we can walk together down in Dixie Land...
JessNess.
15oh that is hilarious! her collection has almost ZERO color but i did buy this black dress that is adorable. can't go wrong with a black dress for 34.99.
16I really like it. Whoever said it is like Madonna got it. It does catch your attention. You almost wonder if the marketing team did it. But then, probably not. How would one even get up that high? And how is the paint streak that precise?
17what a waste of money
18Wow. No matter what you think of it...it had to be a lot of work. Quite the accomplishment in the Space Monkey world!
"It's a great big wonderful world out there, Barnaby."
19I agree it looks kind of cool! I would just leave it...especially since it's so expensive to fix...not worth the money!
20$12,000 is chump change to Madonna and H&M

maybe it's suppossed to be like, art.
22They could leave it & donate the money.
23good, that's an ugly outfit anyways
24I think it's a pretty funny prank!
25I've never seen vandalism quite so precise and...well, symmetrical.
26I love the "acid tears" comment!
They totally should have done both eyes. The picture is so boring, it totally spiced it up.
Madonna's people are NOT upset about this, as much as they may protest. Madonna is the kind of person who loves - nay THRIVES - on free publicity and scandals. Hell, she practically invented the no publicity is bad publicity mantra.
27funny but it looks cool
28Tt would have been even more awesome if it was scarlet red paint. Or they could have at least cut the hole through her nose and let the green paint run from there... hehehe
29who cares.
30It was a waste putting that thing up in the first place.
31Someone has really taken all the trouble!!!!
32I think it looks tight.
33hahaha that's funny... i saw the picture and I was like... where's the vandalism?? duh... the big green thing, I just thought that was part of the picture LOL... wow i feel like an idiot.
34Not to be rude or anything....
35well its finally happened, her face is beginning to fall off, revealing the woman she truly is: a radioactive beast hell bent upon world domination. muah ha ha!
If you're gonna do something like this, why not do something a little funnier?!
36I totally dig it! It seems to me maybe a play on religious statues and icons that weep.
It would be fitting that Madonna (the icon of materialisim) weeps acid tears - as someone else put it.
I think H&M and Madonna should take it down and leave it down or leave it as it is!!!
37Can't stand her...
"Just be who you wanna wanna."
38who would do that i luv her
39I was in H&M the other day. The clothes Madonna designed are nothing special! Very boring actually, and mostly black and white.
40It brings some color into the wardrobe! I agree that it was a nice touch! It's a bit plain with me though, the line.
