Dec 11 2008 - 6:51am

Brooke, Elizabeth, Terrence and Rainn woke up early this morning to announce the Golden Globe nominations — check out the full list of nominees here! [1] Benjamin Button [2] scored big with five nods including Best Actor for Brad Pitt [3]! Angelina Jolie [4] will be joining him with her own Best Actress nod for Changeling [5] — congrats! Doubt [6] and Frost/Nixon [7] were also big winners with five nominations each and noticeably absent from the awards was Milk [8], with only one nomination for Sean Penn [9] as Best Actor. Kate Winslet [10]'s movies came out on top as well with Revolutionary Road [11] and The Reader [12] each getting four nominations, including Leonardo DiCaprio [13] for Best Actor, Kate for Best Actress (in Revolutionary Road [14]), her husband Sam for Best Director and Best Drama for both of the movies. Kate also got Best Supporting Actress for The Reader [15]. Heath Ledger [16] got a Best Supporting Actor nod posthumously, although Dark Knight [17] didn't score anything else, and will be going up against Tom Cruise [18] who received a nomination for Tropic Thunder [19].

For TV, we're excited that Alec and Tina scored Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively, for 30 Rock [21] as well as Best TV Comedy. Recount [22] and In Treatment [23] were each given five nods and one of our favorites, Californication [24] scored a Best TV Series, Comedy and Best Actor for David Duchovny [25]. Congratulations to all of the nominees!
