Matt Damon and Wyclef Jean were in Cabaret, Haiti on Saturday to distribute food and oil to people affected by Hurricane Ike. Wyclef has long been active in his home country, but he brought Matt along to attract attention to the region, which has been devastated after being hit by multiple storms this Summer. The charitable duo just left Toronto after the OneXOne gala, which benefited children's funds, so it seems as though Wyclef and Matt have a good thing going helping out together.

1I love Matt more and more each day!
2I admire Wyclef for his dedication to Haiti. Im really happy that Matt came out to help. Haiti is in a devasting state right now and needs all the help it can get.
This is great.
3This is very thoughtful of them!Very nice!
4Yay for people doing good things!
5It's so nice to see celebs using their fame for good. Lord knows Haiti needs the attention. Good for them!
6This is what we like to see! Go Wyclef Jean & Matt!
7I hate Mat Damon ever since I heard his comments about Sarah Palin everyone has there right to free speach but celebrities should keep there mouthes shut so they don't lose fans liked him before wouldn't pay 2 cents to see one of his movies again..
8My Matt, go head with yo bad ass!
I love him and Wyclef! Well I think he'll be alright without your 10 dollars rcgfg.
9Bet you wont see Palin feeding Haitians...or anyone- anything soon! Matt is alright in my book.
10Awesome. He's not just all talk - he really gets out there and helps. Good for him, and good for us in America to show the world that even some successful, wealthy people in America still have compassion for others in the world.
11Thats great for them to do that
12That's great. I'm happy at how Wyclef Jean is helping his country. Haiti needs some drastic help and restructuration.
13Love Matt even more.,....
Is hate the newest Christian virtue?
14Yeah!! Matt and Wyclef!!! My uncle and aunt are missionaries for Haiti so I know how involved it is! Do what you can, you can't do it all by yourselves!! Great job!!
15nice to see the pics with them doing actual work vs the "look at me working" smile pictures we usually get
16i read about this on the ticker on E! last night and i think that it's a great thing that they are doing. so often you hear about people donating money - but they went to wyclef's home and got their hands into it and helped. i think that it's definitely appreciated down there - since the storm really did destroy a lot of property not just in the US but in haiti and cuba and other islands caught in the path.
17Maybe he will go to Texas next and see if he can help there.
18From what we are reading it was pretty rough.
i hope that they'll not doing this just for publicity.
but i've faith.
19Wyclef Jean has a foundation called Yele Haiti, that has lots of projects in different fields to contribute in helping the country.
Being a native of this country where there's a lot of plight it totally natural for him to do his part and bring attention.
I know what I'm talking about given my origins.
So I really doubt that it's a publicity stunt.
20Wow. That's great. My sister was a missionary in Haiti for a couple years and I went and visited her. There are so many wonderful, caring, and so unfortunate people there. They need all the help they can get before a hurricane even comes close.
