I don't find her extraordinary in beauty, style, talent, or personality. She is the equivalent of boiled chicken.

I agree with fleufairy, I find her very plain and boring. There is no spunk, style or personality. She's very overrated.

I think she seems nice, normal. Maybe not a great actress (wait, I did like her in Juno...), but a nice break from the Heidi/Spencer-style vultures of the entertainment world.

I appreciate her "normalness"! To me she's just an ordinary mom and there's nothing wrong with being ordinary.

What's with the "baby bump" this, "baby bump" that?? We know that she's pregnant and we also know that she can't just leave her "baby bump" at home, can she?
I might be alone on this but I hate that phrase. She's pregnant, looks good, what's new?

i love that they still keep a place in their heart for both half's home town. i think that it's nice that they got married in WV and i think that it's great that they go back to help causes as quaint as a college sports complex. it doesn't have to be a world changing cause to be worth while.

ilanac- they didn't get married in WV. They got married in the Turks and Caicos. As a native West Virginian, it caused quite a stir when her parents weren't invited to the wedding. I can understand not having your wedding in your hometown (I'm tying the knot in Charleston, SC instead of my native WV), but not inviting your parents? And you're not estranged? That's rough.

I agree with others who say she's boring and just Unnewsworthy. I think Ben is finding out how boring also, he looks like he's either absolutely miserable in every photo or hitting the bottle again. I know when you're pregnant it's all about comfort, but she has the money to look somewhat attractive. It's almost like she goes out of her way to look like a throw away.

If she didn't invite her own parents to her wedding then that's really low. It gives me one more reason to dislike her. My first was the way she made faces behind Gary Busey's back and kept acting like he was a leper at the awards show. HE DID NOT kiss her neck but she went on and on that he did. He was drunk and excited about meeting her, you would think she could have shown a little class considering she was sober, but no, she used it as her chance to make someone in an unfortunate situation look worse and show her true colors by laughing at him, lying on him & talking about him like he was a criminal or something.

In other words, can't stand the snob and her hypocrite self.

I love Jen and Ben, but I have to agree that he always looks miserable when he is with her in the pictures we see.
As for the wedding, he didn't invite his parents either, did he? It's not like they had a getaway weekend with tons of guests. If I recall correctly, it was just those 2 and Victor Garber (who officiated).

I miss Alias. I really wanted Garner marrying Michael Vartan but oh well that's what my Alias dvd is for. More Violet please?

I don't find extermely interessting either! But I agree, I appreciate the fact that she's normal and doesn't get caught up in the Hollywood scene.

She likes the Hollywood money though.

In WV, we're proud of Jennifer Garner! She didn't "not invite" her parents to the wedding, she and Ben just went away so they could have some privacy, since the public wants to hound all celebrities and interfere and impose on their weddings, etc. I live in Charleston, know the family and there were no hard feelings, etc. As an FYI, they did have Violet christened in Jen's home church and managed to do so without an invasion of privacy. As for the event this past Friday, I was there and Jen was so gracious, visiting with everyone there and she had wonderfully warm things to say about the University and her hometown. She is very unpretentious and she doesn't care if you all like what she wears or not. She is pregnant and wants to be comfortable. How would you all look if someone was taking pictures of your outfits every day? She is a nice person. Why can't you just appreciate that she is NOT a stuck-up, boozing, drugging, potty-mouthed, spoiled celebrity. She is a genuinely nice person!
