The cast of Gossip Girl was back to work in NYC yesterday, with a couple of furry friends to visit with between takes. Both Leighton and Blake were taking care of their adorable dogs, though their on-screen counterparts are too busy partying and scheming to make time for pets. As things continue to heat up for our Upper East Siders, we're already looking forward to seeing the cast make the transition into their fabulous Fall wardrobes — even without their real-life pooches as accessories.

6Ehh, can Blake's dog walk? She's ALWAYS carrying it around on her arm. When did a dog become a baby? Is it even healthy for the dog? I like Leighton much more, just for at least having the sense to walk her dog. (Although, I really just adore her!)
