SO sad, esp. for that little guy...but, I can't say I'm surprised. Chris seemed SO MIA since the baby was born.

I totally saw this one coming. In fact for the past year or so. I love Kate but every time she spoke of her marriage there was an odd tone involved like :"I don't want to know what he does when on tour. As long as I don't hear about it." or "We have an agreement that if one of us wants to fool around, to tell the other." and on and on...Also, we never saw them together lately, just her and her son....Another one bites the dust! Poor Ryder!''

PS She got married way to young. Avril won't last either. Too young. That's my opinion.

awww, they seemed like a happy family. i was just saying to a friend yesterday that her and her mom seemed to have been among the few in hollywood that got it right and how happy they all seemed.

Its sad, but its hard to be married to a musician. Esp with touring. U just cannot trust men and women that try to end up going insane.

What happened to my post? Anyways, what i said was I am kinda surprised but not really. There are few celeb couples who break up that I would be shocked over.

Last year everyone got pregant out of wedlock, this year it's all about divorcing. So sad.

Thanks pinkparadise! Yeah, he's my little baby! lol All of my friends make fun of me because he's so spoiled (and totally neurotic to boot!) He's 5 1/2, so he's pretty much past the point of changing, but I still love him! Thank god he stopped getting into everything when he was 2 or 3...he used to destroy shoes, baseboards, coffee tables, etc. Now he pretty much sleeps all day long lol

Wow I just read the People article - I didn't realize they had been married for SIX years! That's a lot more than some Hollywood couples can say. At least they can say (I'm assuming) that they gave it their best shot.
