Renee Zellweger was all smiles and high hair last night at the Academy Theater in Beverly Hills for the premiere of her new movie, Appaloosa. There hasn't been too much buzz about the film, which opened in limited release yesterday — check out the trailer here — but the cast seems like a close bunch. Renee, Viggo Mortensen, and Ed Harris had nothing but kisses and hugs for each other joined by the Cox-Arquettes on the red carpet. Ed directed the movie and said when he met Renee he "fell in love with her." It must have been fun being one of the only girls on set in this western cowboy flick and looks like the actress got some good friends out of the deal.

WHat are you wearing???
1I was watching Jerry McGuire last weekend and I know it's been 10 years, or so, but it's shocking how much better she looked in that movie than she looks now. She was actually soft and feminine looking. I don't know what happened.

15Hate the dress. As to the question of what happened to her and Cameron...well they aged? When you age you start loosing the fat and fullness in your face added to the fact that you are a celeberity and have to stay super skin...you face starts looking gaunt. Notice how Jaylo's face doesn't look gaunt...with Renee its' probably a combo of plastic surgery plus again and fat lost as well...me thinks

18put on bridget jones 'again' the other day, she is such a good actress, really like renee, but the dress not really....she has a cracking figure though.
19what happened was around the time of Chicago and The Hours both Nicole Kidman and Renee who were working on Cold Mountain began using lots of botox and starving themselves and their faces were never the same. Now they are both hard to look at but started becoming too shallow and wanting to fit in couture clothes on the red carpet instead of caring about looking natural for their acting craft. That's why I respect actreses like Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet, they would never do that.
