Paris Hilton stopped to work on her tan at the Portofino Tanning Salon in LA yesterday wearing a shirt covered in her name and image. The heiress is gearing up for the Sept. 30 premiere of her new BFF show [1] and has already released a casting special [2] introducing her potential future besties. With rumors of a new scripted TV show in the works with Ryan Seacrest [3] along with all her many projects, Paris took a break for a little self promotion in an interview. • On the biggest misconception of her: "The one that 'she doesn't work.' I am literally running a huge corporation. I have my clothing lines, my champagne, my watches, shoes and purses and dog clothes — every sort of product you can imagine. I am doing movies. I am doing my record right now, producing, starring in a TV show. So it is a 24 hour, seven day-a-week job. I work all the time, so I laugh when I hear people say that."
• On her privacy: "I am basically always on camera. From the moment I leave my house in the morning, the paparazzi are waiting there until I go to bed at night. So it is natural to be doing this TV show. I don't even know the cameras are there. I still have my private life. When I go home I have my pets and my boyfriend."
• On her future in 20 years: "I'll probably be a mom with a couple of kids. I'd love to have a big family. Running my business and not traveling so much. I'll be in a lot of real estate businesses and hotels then. I'll be running my business from home."

As for her new TV show, it should be interesting to see what kind of people audition to be someone's friend.
