Jessica Simpson gave it her all last night at the Nina's Night Out Concert at the Palms' Pearl Theater in Las Vegas. The concert raised money for Vegas's Rape Crisis Center, and Jess spoke about being "blessed" to have the opportunity to inspire other women predicting it would be an especially passionate performance given the cause. She also talked about her man, "Tony is a great quarterback, but he's a better boyfriend. . . . I'm seriously proud of myself for letting him into my life." The singer has a lot to be proud of lately — Do You Know debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's country chart! She also debuted at No. 4 on their Top 200 chart, something LL Cool J wasn't too happy about. Jessica is "extremely touched" and "thrilled" by the support of her fans and we are glad to see that she's found her niche.

Don't she and her family subscribe to the any press is good press mantra? Seems like they have in the past, so I wouldn't put it past them. That way her name and album stay in the media even longer and she gets to gush about Buterfingers Romo more.

Her new album is not mediocre. It is honestly her best album to date and I'm not even a country fan. There are song really good songs on there. 'Come on Over' doesn't scratch the surface. The vocals on her song with Dolly are ridiculous (as in good-amazingly difficult). I can say that there actually isn't a bad song on her album. Hopefully as she releases more singles the album will hoover the charts.

What! Jessica doesn’t positively inspire me to do anything or think a certain way. If I acted like Jessica does then I would be acting like a puppet. She acts and sings like she’s told to do by papa Joe and others, still. I don’t believe Jessica *feels* anything, as normal women do. And the things that she’s singing about lately are insulting to all women who were truly abused.
Jessica needs to grow up a lot more, keep her mouth shut about her relationships, stop being a puppet, charlatan, and an absolute liar.

34Yeh, she sold only alf the number of copies of her last flop, and released the album two days early for extra sales. This is a disaster after all the publicity this beast gets, they picked a dead week though so they could claim no. 1 on the country charts. She needs to stop talking about her fake relationships and farting and stop sticking her toungue out, she's 28 years old already.

38Its a lose -lose situation regarding her gushing of Tony. When Jessica talks about Tony people cry its too much and then when she doesn't people will cry they are split. I say Jessica should just do what makes her happy and ta heck with what people say. Like Tony mentioned, if you rely on what others think of you to make you happy, you will live a very unhappy life and one of solitude. So for Jessica, my advice would be just do and say what makes you happy.
