Drew Barrymore snuggled into some very comfy looking clothes walking around the West Village in NYC with a friend on Friday. She's recently been hanging out in Austin filming her directorial debut Whip It and generally laying low after her breakup with Justin Long. After getting so used to always seeing her sucking face with him all over town it's refreshing to see her rolling solo again and looking happy out and about back home in Manhattan.
I wish I could teleport there right now and get some Thai food to take to central park for a little picnic... umm.

I know she's famous and a "public person" as some people like to say but so what about her style? No, really, SO WHAT? I like Drew like that, if she wasn't like that would not be Drew Barrymore anymore so whatever - that's why I like this woman.
Btw, wasn't she with some other guy that day? I've seen some other pictures and had a rocker-looking-guy with them.

i think that it's great when you see celebs so casual and just having a good time walking around. i don't know how so many people are always in NYC and i never see them, but what can you do right? i'm sure that she's coping just fine after her breakup - drew is the kind of person that always manages to land on her feet

At first when I saw these pics, I'm like no Drew, why? But then I'm like oh, those jeans are kinda cute. 
Drew is well known for her "bra optional" looks though.

What is she, 33? WHY is she dressed like a 13 year-old? Her friend looks better than she even if it DOES look like he's wearing her sweater. (Don't get me started on that "bra.")
