i'm moving in august and i'm totally nervous. much more nervous than i was a month or two ago. i've always lived in the twin cities and all my friends and family are in minneapolis. i went to visit columbus a few weeks ago, it seemed kind of cute. i'm not really a sports fan but i guess i'll have to try since it's such a sports oriented city. it's intimidating to move to a city where you don't know a single person. i don't know what the fun places are, where the co-ops, hippies and bikers are...i feel kind of silly. i'm too old to be worrying about "nobody liking me at my new school". it's a huge school!
i'm scared that my husband won't be able to get a job. i've never moved out of state before, i don't know how to do it. i'm going to have to find a landlord that will let us move in without having a job in columbus right away, that's what temp agencies are for, right?
i am not looking forward to driving a u-haul 14 hours. screw Illinois and its toll highways. i almost want to drive around the damn state out of spite.
