Josh Groban may sometimes be a punchline, but he took to the stage at the Emmys tonight to show off his impressive pipes. He performed a medley of 30 famous television show theme songs to celebrate TV's big night and didn't miss a beat. While we're also curious about what kind of drama went on backstage with a possible run in with ex-girlfriend, January Jones, based on his performance he seemed right on cue. So watch the clip below and tell us, Josh Groban's TV theme song montage — Love it or leave it?

that took a lot of work
and he seemed to be able to poke
fun at his image.
1That was a lot of work to put together and for him to learn it all. I'm not really a fan, but he did a good job on a tough task.
2it was fun and probably Really hard to do.
3That was great, but he looks like he's lip syncing a few times (specifically during the South Park song)
4it was neat!!
5It was brilliant and the best part of the night. I have watched it over and over.
6Who knew M*A*S*H had a theme song. Geezus that was embarassing.
7I loved it and its great that he can laugh at himself.
8We posted a list of all the television shows Josh sang or made reference to during his medley at the 2008 Emmys

9He looked like he was having a great time and he did such a good job at changing his voice to sound like the originals!!
10Haha. That was so fun to watch! Southpark and Prince of Bel-Air were hilarious.
11of course MASH had a theme song, but I am old enough to remember that.....
It was okay, Josh might be channeling Future Josh on the vegas strip with that montage though!
12It looked dorky so i muted it when it came on
13All I can say is that man is crazy talented! What a voice. I think he deserves a standing ovation every performance.
14I'm just glad Ed McMahon got some work. Hopefully he can pay his mortgage now.
Really, I think it's nice that he can poke fun at himself, and he's a cutie. But he's also painfully dorky and I had a hard time watching it.
15He wasn't lipsyncing, this video is off. When I watched it live last night, you can tell he was singing. I thought it was hysterical, goofy, and fun and i was cracking up watching this. it made the emmys light and fun, and it wasnt expected
i LOVE josh groban and to see
this side of him was brilliant
16savile, it was, because it sounded to me like he messed up the words a couple of times.
However, I thought the montage was GREAT, and flubs or not, huge props to Josh. I agree that he's a great big dork, but that's what I love about him. VIVA LA DORKS!
17I love Josh's voice, but I was embarrassed for him to subject himself to that... anyone who had to participate in last night's show I felt bad for...
18I really don't understand why everyone is so critical of Josh. It was done in a "tongue in cheek".
Get it? He is a classic singer, doing cheesy show tunes. "it was a joke, son, it was a joke".
Of coure, not as funny as Josh doing the "F'ing Ben Affleck" Jimmy Kimmel skit.
Although, I didn't care for the show as a whole.
19hilarious!
20btw - when did they broke up? (josh groban and january jones...that's news to me)
I wasn't going to watch the Emmys until I heard Josh was going to sing. Only HE could have done that and done it justice. That was his own voice and what a voice it is! His total lack of attitude is what made that performance all the more fun to watch.
21I thought he did a fantastic job.
22It was one of the last things I got to see before our power went out.
I'm sure if I had seen the entire Emmys, it still would have been one of my favorite parts.
love that they ended with cheers!
23major props, josh!
loves it!!
