I knew it was Larry all along, I was just worried that slimy Howard would pull some kind of scaly manoever that would make the paternity results appear to be his. But he didn't, and it's over and Anna Nicole lied all along, b*tch! Sorry, don't mean to offend the dead, but that poor guy missed out on months of his daughter's life when I'm quite sure she knew all along the was his!!!

I didn't pay enough attention to who the father was so I didn't have an idea. I just hope who ever gets custody takes good care of her.

I'm not surprised that Larry's the daddy, but I AM surprised that Howard has decided not to fight for some kind of custody. I for sure thought he'd try.

It's all a sad situation...I just hope that Anna's mom tried to not interfere too much with her fight for custody. It is reported that she supposedly will appeal for custody of the little Dannilynn Hope. This story just seems to never want to end.

Howard is still in charge of the money so I guess he still has his baby!! Hopefully the baby will be healthy.. with all those drugs in her system during the pregnancy, and Larry will do right by her!!

I think Howard knew Larry was the dad which is why he decided not to fight for custody. I'm so glad that Larry is the father, he seems to be the sane one in all of this.

It was really no suprise , but it was nice to see a dad actually fight for his child.

I really feel for Larry- he truly cared about being there for his daughter- some men would just be happy that the responsibility had been given to another man & move on, but he truly wanted that baby, long before ANS kicked the bucket & there was any inheritance to be gained. i'm just glad his patience was rewarded- it would have been so awful for him if Howard was announced as Dannielynn's dad!!!

Totally shocked. Stern has always struck me as a totally stand-up guy and I never doubted for a second that he was telling the truth.

Yes she does look just like him- especially when he had those pics up on his site comparing her 2 month old pic to his baby pic! Virgie Arthur will never get custody- no court would give even joint custody to the grandmother unless the father was unfit to be a parent (ie drugs, drinking problem, domestic violence, crinimal record etc)

i just remember ever since the baby was born and anna was still alive, this guy was fighting for the right to call her his daughter. i don't think he was motivated by money as much as howard k. stern was.

the only thing i wonder is, would this information have come to light at all if anna were still alive? i just think that this is being expedited due to her death. so sad. but at least this baby will grow up knowing.

I really didn't follow everything, I really didn't care, but HKS seems soooo creepy!! Very shady! I hope that Larry can take good care of her. Poor baby, no mother or brother and will have to hear about all the stupid stuff about her mother for the rest of her life. Drama drama.

SweetPeasMom, that assume she was sleeping with Stern. From my (admittedly not in-depth) observances, I think Stern wanted a relationship with Smith far more than she wanted one with him. And I think between her increasing drug use and Daniel's death, her state of mind allowed him to completely take over and say whatever the hell he wanted and she'd go along with it. Up until shortly before the baby's birth, Anna Nicole herself was stating that it was Birkhead's baby.

katie225, Larry was trying to get a paternity test done long before ANS died. THe reason she stayed in the Bahamas for so long was because she was trying to stall him because she KNEW Stern was not the father. Not only did she deny Larry the right to bond with his child, but you also have to have some sympathy for Howard, despite his creepiness, coz she was stringing him along too- all this time he's been thinking HE was the father, only to find out he's not. That woman messed up a lot of people's lives!

Budderflie I know - I was waiting for this to turn into an episode of Maury lol...I'm glad at least now she is going to be with her real father...

Say what you want about Larry and Howard, but can we please keep this respectful towards Anna??
