Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony continued their European country-hopping over the weekend, trading France and Italy for Greece. They piled on their jewelry to attend a bash at the Lagonisi Grand Resort in Athens before Jennifer's busy Sunday. She put on a pink dress to promote her clothing line Sweetface, and then got done up Grecian-goddess style for a photo shoot at the Acropolis, with the help of hairstylist Ken Paves. There was no quiet night in the cards for Jennifer either, and last night she took the stage at the city's Olympic Stadium in front of 11,000 people. So much for a relaxing post-triathlon yachting vacation, though Jennifer seems to be at her happiest when she's busy working with Marc by her side.

1After watching her in all the greek channels today, I was surprised that she was really friendly and happy with all the paparazzis, cause, trust me, they can be reaaally annoying. And the photo shoot at the Acropolis seems like its gonna be pretty.

5The concert was a failure the Stadium was half empty.Her bodyguards behaved realy badly.She lipsinged and the whole thing hardly lasted 40 minutes.It was as we call it here an arpaxti,a quickie to make some money,the show opened a laughable Greek pop singer.
6Also i do wonder how she was allowed to aproach the Parthenon for a photoshoot.In order a camera to be allowed this close you have to take a licence from the Greek archaelogical board.

8Katia, I was totally thinking the same thing! They don't ever allow any footage or photographs (for profit) to be taken anywhere near the Parthenon. Nia Vardalos had to get the special waiver for her latest filem "My Life in Ruins" to film at the Acropolis. I hope J-Lo she gets slammed with a massive fine. BTW: touching the Parthnon is a BIG no-no. I don't know who she THINKS she is, but that archelogical marvel and cultural symbol isn't an arm-rest Jenny. The same way I wouldn't want anyone posing all up on the Statue of Liberty, she shouldn't be all up on the Parthenon.

The only things she's done in years are have a couple of babies and run in a mini-marathon (along with several other celebrities who chose to do it for a good cause and not for the publicity). And judging by the comments I see whenever there's an article about her, most people are sick of her, including myself. Please stop giving this no-talent idiot any more publicity!

23This scandal has now gone political.
Metro Greece is running a half page story this morning about how this photoshoot was not given the proper authorization. Both opposition parties have raised the issue, citing that the Central Archaeological Board, from which any such requests need to be "green lighted", had not been contacted at all in this case. Instead, it seems CEO Petros Kostopoulos of IMAKO Media, publisher of In Style magazine Greece for which the shoot was made, must have done a backhanded deal with the current Minister of Culture who OK'ed the shoot. Minister Michalis Liapis in defended the decision, characterizing the session as a positive advertisement for Greece, due to the JLO's global fame.
When asked about the supposed permission, Photographer Spyros Poros said that the Editor in Chief of In Style magazine was in possession of the necessary documents. The Editor in Chief was not available for comment.
