I'd never live in California... they sure waste a lot of money. First they pass a law...then take it back...what a waste of time and money. I've heard this argument forever and I still can't see how it affects anyone else if homosexuals want to get married anymore then heterosexuals.
1If God doesn't like it, He can handle it. He's God. He doesn't need human help to tell Him how to do His job.
But how, pray tell, is my life going to be altered if any two people, period, get married?
go kanye!
congrats to andrew and wife
2I don't understand why people keep trying to ban gay marriage. Jeez, it's not their business, it's not their life and who are they to tell people who they can and can't love and marry? I'll be definitely voting on this one. And really, California is a great place to live regardless of a law going back and forth. I'm proud that CA has allowed gay marriages.
3This is ridiculous. I'm a Christian and even I don't see why anyone else should have a say in two people getting married. The way I see it it's not for you or I to judge, that's up to God. It's our job to live peacefully together. Period.
4And another thing...if we're allowed freedom of religion shouldn't atheism count? I love God but even He doesn't force anyone to love or believe in Him. So if the argument is that it's ungodly to be a homosexual or married...isn't that unconstitutional? I see that and I'm a heterosexual, never been curious, Jesus-freak living in the bible belt.
5hold up... not saying homosexuals are atheists... ya'll are some sensitive a* people!!
I just mean they can't say it's because God doesn't like it.
6Speaking out is good and well but where's the money???
7Mesayme, you're funny! I didn't read it like that!
8...ya never know what comment is going to be raw meat in the lion's den Bella... LOL
9i think that it's really frustrating that everyone now has to campaign about this proposition - first you allow people to get married and then whoops - just a few months later you're saying that it's not going to be allowed? that's really not right.
CONGRATS to andrew - i guess he did deserve his happy ending after all.
hmm..i wonder what the grazziano family is going to say about nick getting out early. i'm sure they're not thrilled
well i guess it's interesting that kanye's teaming up for a show but that's good right? something new for him to focus on.
i didn't really have it in me to watch all of DWTS last night - but i'm sure that whomever left is going to be missed. i don't usually pay much attention until later in the season anyway
that's quite an interesting turn of events for lance to be a part owner if the sale goes through. i wonder if that means that he's not going to be able to race?
10Is the money just for campaigning against it? I mean if they raise 10 million that doesnt really mean its not gonna pass... Am I being so dumb right now? lol
11Briandiesel - I was wondering the same thing...how is raising money going to help? It's up to the people to vote. I guess raising money helps distribute flyers and bumper stickers about saying no on Prop.8?? I saw an old guy driving around with a Yes on Prop.8 bumper sticker the other day and I just shook my head. Who honestly is SO against gay marriage that they have to have a sticker to prove it?
Mesayme - California is great! But yes we do go back forth on a lot of things...it's the fight between the liberals in the metropolitan areas (SF, LA, San Diego) against the rest of California, which seems to be mostly Republican so things get changed a lot. Other than that and the high cost of living, it's wonderful here.

... californiagirlx7. I can read about them, but encounter &
tolerate, highly doubt it. I'm an East coast girl. I'm more New York/Chicago than I'll ever be L.A. Unapologetically smug about it too,
