Kids Explore the Arts With a Little Help From John Mayer
John Mayer suited up and grabbed his guitar to perform at Susan and Tony Bennett's Exploring the Arts Gala, a fundraiser for school music programs, in NYC last night. Whoopi Goldberg played hostess for the evening and immediately pegged John as her new crush after his performance. John's Summer tour may be over, but he was happy to participate in the charity event, saying,"There's 12-year-old John Coltranes and Miles Davises walking around. They just don't know it yet." Sounds like John is ready to embrace some competition from the talented up-and-comers.

3see if only he would bring this side of him to everyone in the world and not just reserve it for events like this. i think that he has a good heard he just NEVER shows that side of himself. it's always the player or the press junkie or whatever else it is that we've seen lately.
4There's a picture of him on his website...johnmayer dot com of him and a little boy in his blog... it's so adorable. And believe me, i had a voodoo doll of John until about a month ago! There's more to him, which I knew since 2004 long before he FORGOT. He's the guy you love to hate...to love.
