i saw some highlights from the gore bono thing and i think that they are on the right track for what we need to do ...and bringing things to light that most people wouldn't think about since we're not involved in the whole commercial aspect of global environmental issues

that's a shame that natalie is now single - they seemed to really suit each other nicely, but maybe she needs someone that she can bring on the red carpet since he was never there by her side. oh well...

congrats to jen - i guess it's about time that she found love - since she was on the show 2x and didn't manage to even find one guy the second time around ....GOOD LUCK and i'm sure that we'll hear more about her wedding as it gets closer.

i saw the post about ed mcmahon earlier and that's really funny -but the site does catchy commercials so i'm sure that this could be something that would get a lot of play as well....

i'm not shocked by who was voted off last night but i'm surprised that they made some of the top couples wait until the VERY end to find that they were safe. oh well...it's still VERY early in the season!

If the media & celebrities think their treatment of McCain helps the cause, they are mistaken. I wish they'd lay off of him, so there wouldn't be any perception of unfairness. We ain't stupid - we can make up our own minds. People at work were talking about Letterman's rant this morning. Even in the ultra-liberal NYC environment, it raised some eyebrows. These types of things are pissing people off and creating the opposite of the desired effect.

Dancing with the Stars - I cannot believe Kim K is still on there...she's HORRIBLE!! blah. But I guess you could say the same for the season Master P was on. He was awful, but stuck it out week after week. Looks like if people like you enough, you'll keep on keepin' on

haha i love david letterman. when he yelled at the live feed about mccain wanting a ride to the aiport i thought i was going to die laughing. political views aside, if mccain was going to cancel on Dave, he should have just told him the truth. i dont blame dave for calling him out like that. anywho, i got a kick out of it.

Believe it or not, Letterman is actually a McCain fan. maybe not anymore...

Ugh. I saw Letterman last night, and honestly it was like STFU already. We get it, he cancelled last minute, let it go. His ranting was funny for the first two minutes and then it became awful and trite and he seemed like a mistress scorned or something.

I thought it was a little classless of Letterman to be honest.

Now, you're a presidential candidate. You have two interviews scheduled and you have to cancel one of them.

1 is with a media personality who flays people on a regular basis.
1 is with a noteworthy news anchor that tries to be unbiased.

Which one would YOU cancel?

Couric a noteworthy anchor She's barely holding on to the job and may be out at the end of the elections because she's consistently rating lower than ABC and NBC.

Letterman's numbers might be closer to Couric's these days in viewers.

Letterman is a comedian. Katie Couric hosts a national news program. As a presidential candidate, which interview should he be expected to keep? He probably thinks it would be in bad taste to laugh when the country is in financial crisis.

Ed McMahon - Funny stuff! Donald Trump saved him from losing his house. Wonder if Trump can do wonders to his other friend McCain's sinking ship of a campaign. Maybe Donald can loan him $700B? While I don't have a problem with McCain canceling an appearance such as this for a valid reason, he canceled on Letterman under false pretenses and basically dissed him. This is such a foolish move! I also feel that Letterman made an excellent point about why didn't McCain put Sarah Palin out there campaigning more instead of "suspending" his campaign to deal with the financial crisis. It's ridiculous! Letterman may have gone a bit over the top, but McCain's judgment has been very poor lately, and I'm glad somebody pointed it out to a larger audience.
