Lots of stars from Showtime were out in NYC last night to celebrate the upcoming premieres of Dexter and Californication. Michael C. Hall and Evan Handler were on hand to celebrate their respective programs, while Mary-Louise Parker came out to support her network-mates. David Duchovny missed the bash as he deals with his other issues, but that doesn't take away from our excitement for the return of his series — in fact, it's one of the fifteen Fall shows we can't wait to watch!

Mary-Louise is so gorgeous, and that dress is cute.
1i'm actually looking forward to the premiers - especially since i didn't allow myself to check them out online like i heard they would be. i think that dexter is one of those shows that translates soo much better on TV and i have a feeling that there will be a lot more viewers this season since people got to see it on network TV during the writers strike.
2I am so excited for this seasons Dexter, its an awesome show!!!!
Is it true that he's dating that woman who plays his sister in real life? I thought he was married?
3Cute dress!
4Mary-Louise kind of has that deer-in-the-headlights look all the time.
5Yeah, MartiniRossi, he's dating that chick who plays his sister on Dexter. I believe her name is Jennifer Carpenter.
6Mary Louise looks HOT again! Love that dress, and I love how she rocks the pale skin!
7I like the dress it just looks a couple inches too short. I think I'll try Dexter one more time... that show scared me last year. Big chicken...
8Mary Louise Parker is just oozing with sexuality! She's HOT!
9MLP is ridiculously hot. Her eyes are huge, I don't think she can help the deer in headlights thing.
LOVE DEXTER. LOVE IT! I had no idea he was dating his "sister." That's kind of weird. And is it just me, or does Deb need to put on like 10lbs?
10So yeah, where's Deb? She could gain some weight but that was her character, treadmill addict. I just cannot look at these and see Michael C. Hall. I see "Dexter" and I'm afraid he's going to try and kill me.
11Good call sugarplumfairy, you're right. She was emotionally fragile last season and she threw her all into working out. She is such a pretty girl, but when my eyes are drawn below her face, she looks like an awkward teenage boy.
When I see Michael C. Hall, I see Dexter and David Fisher (his character on Six Feet Under). When I first saw Dexter, I didn't think I was going to be able to separate David Fisher from Dexter, but after a few minutes I didn't see David Fisher anymore at all. Anyway, point being, he's a fantastic actor.
12Ahh!!! I'm so excited for Dexter! Showtime has the best shows on tv right now, but I haven't even gotten into Californication....
13Dexter is sooo hot! Is it weird that I fancy Dexter more than Michael C Hall? He shakes my hormones!
14I actually partied with Michael C Hall way back in the late 80's when he went to Myrtle Beach SC for the weekends. He had a thing for my best friend who went to Myrtle Beach to judge beauty pageants. (she was on an exercise program at noon for our local TV station in Charleston SC, WCSC) My mother was the mayor of a town in SC and we would go to Myrtle Beach for political things and what not so we were there a lot. We got to meet a lot of fun people, and I met Micheal when he lived in near by North Carolina but would come to Myrtle Beach for some weekend get aways with friends. I remember him being so much fun and always had something funny to say but in a serious way, a lot like he is in Dexter. The last time I saw him he was getting in his car packing up after a weekend renting a beach house on the ocean (with about 6 of his buddies). He told me he was moving to New York someday but I didn't really believe him. Good for him though..he's made it!
