Amanda Bynes and Harry Connick Jr. attended the premiere of their new Lifetime TV movie Living Proof last night in NYC. Renee Zellweger was the executive producer on this project about Dr. Dennis Slamon, played by Harry, who developed the breast cancer drug Herceptin [1]. The actress has a personal connection with the subject, recently revealing she had a breast cancer scare [2] in 1996, with what luckily turned out to be benign tumors. The Lifetime movie premieres on Oct. 18, and Renee's story is a good reminder for all of us to keep up those monthly exams [3].
