We've gotten so used to seeing Kate run around in sunny Australia that we barely recognized her all bundled up in rainy NYC! Earlier this week she hung out with her famous friends at the opening of Tom Ford's new boutique without her now public boyfriend Owen. We wonder if he is waiting on the west coast for her return to keep her warm.

I really like that 2n shot (3rd with the thumbnails) of her in the rain. It's just a pap pic but whoever shot it took it well. It's a cool shot! Her positioning-in the midst of walking, with the look at the camera holding the umbrella with the rain pouring down. It has a "romatic-ness" to it. I cant really explain..lol. You rarely see great picture it seems with the paps..just general "Hey its Britany!" type shots. But Kate is also one of the most photogenic people ever so...she makes it easy, I guess..lol
