Im SUPER excited!!

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Desperate Housewives' idea of making Gaby "fat," as Eva puts it at least, is to make her look about the same size as the average woman? I kind of want to smack her for talking about how fat the character now is.

Kait, I want to smack her too. I have never liked her - horrible actress and so full of her self. F*cking ugly, too.

this show just doesn't do it for me anymore and i really wish that it did. i was so excited about it for seasons one and two and lately i haven't felt compelled to DVR it if i know that i'm not going to be home. i hope that the flash forward brings some new context to the show

Kait, I think "fat" is meant in comparison to Gaby's earlier trophy wife self, not in comparison to the average woman. Remember how Gaby used to exercise in almost every episode? Now she hasn't got the time and thus has "let herself go".

I agree she is clearly pregnant. It was funny when Amy Poeler said "how dare you, I just gained weight for a role" when Tina Fey asked her when she was due at the Emmys. It seemed like a shot at Eva.

I'm really tired of her saying she's not pregnant just "fat" because I'm sure her skinny ass can still fit into a size 2.

That show is so predictable to me, and so fake-wo even cares? The whole theme of the show is being exceedingly nosy about one's neighbors(and who really cares that much about what their neighbors are up to? no one,really)and then that everyone has "secrets."
Hardly anyone has a deep, dark scary secret! Real life is more boring than all of that. Other than that, I have watched it many times back when we didn't have cable and it was the best thing on LOL I watched it last night, well at least the first half, and it was okay, but the measuring cup conspiracy is just to farfetched and lame for me to really be able to appreciate....and who is this character that she thinks she is so hot? I still don't know who killed themselves, either.... lameness.

wow... i never thought someone with short hair could look so bad. Eva's 15 minutes of fame are UP. She is done. She looks terrible, and her husband, Tony Parker, will leave her in a few years for someone younger. Poor thing. I actually feel sorry for her.

justanerd1975 I would have agreed with you in the past, that real life is much more boring. I'll admit I don't watch the show, but the things that go on in my parents neighborhood you wouldn't believe, if we wrote a book, or made a show, people would think the same thing...except it really happened, and not in an area you'd expect it to.

All I've got to say is should the girl be pregnant whoever came up with the excuse "I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat" should be fired. She will never live it down!!

As for her "fat comments," I think she was just saying she was fat as a defense mechanism against the media because they keep commenting on her weight and saying that she is pregnant. She is just trying to make a point that she is not pregnant by saying "I'm fat" because she is probably tired of saying that she gained weight for her role. I think she might be pregnant though, but she's probably in the early stages.

eva was at the san antonio silver star game today where they beat the los angeles whatever their name is, I'm just waiting for the spurs to cream the the los angeles lakers as well
