Yeah, she's just doing her job- which very likely is promoting the tantalizing mystery part, which is keeping her client on the covers of magazines. They all realize it's very profitable keeping everyone guessing, and I just hope everybody involved is OK with being used for money, and not investing any real feelings.

UM...I think keeping things straight(no pun intended) with celebrities "personal life" is part of a publicists job.

i think that she should stick to what she's being paid for and perhaps if she's going to deny things to the press, she should know what she's denying. i can understand why LL might not share all the information of her personal life with the publicist, but that's how people get exploited and rumors start. hasn't she had issues with assistants and publicists in the past spreading incorrect information about her?

The thing is, she didn't really reveal anything, that along with her not really being bi is true(this i all for attention). Lindsay is persona non grata.

Lesbian or not, she's seemed SOOOOO much more balanced these days. Her publicist is just wrongly thinking that she'll lose popularity if people know the truth. A bit old-fashioned, maybe. Now, onto the more important question- where can I find her dress?

Lindsay is very wishy washy every time she reveals something about her life she takes it back. Take the whole bulimia article for example after she said she was making herself sick she later back tracked and said her words were misconstrued.

To the person who brought up the parallels between Lindsay and Samantha, and Ellen DeGeneres and Anne Heche- I agree with you all the way. I think that Lindsay Lohan and her PR people know that the gossip is all that's keeping her in the media's eye. She's not really "in love" with Samantha Ronson, she's using her for publicity. Her publicist is just doing her part by creating more "news".

Remember when Neil Patrick Harris' agent denied he was gay and the next day Harris fired his agent and came out? Agents often act on their own, "in the best interest" of their client. Being gay hasn't hurt Harris and it won't hurt Lindsay (if she's gay or bi or just in love with a girl). Linds should fire Zelnick and send a message to Hollywood and the rest of the country that being in love with someone of the same sex is not something horrible to be denied through official statements.

she's in a much better place in her life right now. she's happy and in love. i hope she's not going to try and deny her relationship with sam since most people are supportive anyway, and it's not like there's anything to be ashamed about

BTW, Samantha had NO idea that Lindsay's Publicist denied Lindsay confirming their relationship. When speaking with Jonathan Jaxson in Atlanta on Friday night, she dismissed what Leslie Sloane said.

Samantha and Lindsay have been together of and on for OVER 8 months but it's been 8 months straight.

And again, Lindsay DID NOT relapse and she is NOT back on drugs. She's on strict probation and gets checked regularly. And you also will NEVER see her appearing on any magazine cover with Samantha proclaiming her sexuality.

I thought publicists say what their clients tell them to say? If so, I don't see the problem. Maybe Lindsay was caught off guard and she wasn't ready to announce it to the world. I don't know, I still think this a phase. I doubt that they will be together forever and ever.

Even if everyone knew 'the truth' about them they'd just trash them anyway. I think they deserve what little privacy they are managing to keep between each other. It is nice to have someone to share that kind of love with.

She pays the publicist to do a job. If she wants her to stay out of her personal life then she stops employing her. I guess I'm saying it's not really any of my concern what her publicist does or doesn't say.
