Pink was in a great mood earlier this week when she stopped by Koi in West Hollywood. Even though she seems to be in a good mood apparently she's pissed that one of her songs is being censored. Lucky for her, Jimmy Kimmel let her sing it and discuss more about it on his show. Here's more:
Pink appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and thanked him for letting her sing and discuss the song, which she says the hasn’t been able to do on the radio or other TV shows.
“Dear Mr. President,” which attacks Bush’s domestic and war policies, is an open letter to the president, she explained.
“Are you hoping President Bush will make a song back to you?” Kimmel said, joking.
“Yes,” Pink quipped. “Through Eminem.”

That's a really good song.
1I LOVE Pink! She's ultra super cool. And that song's cool too!
2I have not heard that son but I'm lovin her new stuff I have heard. And I haven't always been her biggest fan, but she's aging nicely she seems alot happier than she ever used to.
3She looks really great in these pictures!
4i loved that song, and anyone should be free to sing what they want, looove her!
5Isn't being able to voice what you think of your country's government apart of belonging to a democracy? :S
6What happened to Pink's pink hair?
7i had a feeling this would happen. I bought the album right when it came it, the song really touched me and ment alot about what was going on. Im glad she sang it! You go girl!
8It's a nice song, has a lot or truth in it, I like it.
9I don't understand what she meant about 'Through Eminem'. She's looking very relaxed and gorgeous since she got married - she doesn't try too hard to be all attitude-y any more.
There is a difference between actual censorship and radio stations/tv shows that care about nothing more than making money choosing not to air controversial things that might cut into their precious profits.
She's pissed that other people are worried about their profits because it's cutting into hers. Ha! That's funny.
10Ehrm... no, she doesn't get "sensored" but CENSORED in any case...
11not usually a fan but she looks great! will have to check out that song
12the song is okay. It's stupid that she's being censored. We have free speech.
13I thought she was going to have some sort of police anklet on... "sensored" you know. I'm not a Pink fan, haven't listened to the song, but censoring things on the radio is not new. Movies on tv are the same way. Watch Fast Times at Ridgemont High on Comedy Central sometime for proof.
The Grammar Police are here in force this morning!
14Go Pink!!!! I haven't heard the song but I really want to....sounds very interesting.
15I'm missing something. Why is censored spelled "Sensored" in the title?
16I use to listen to her music-not anymore. I agree with BlondeSugar about the spelling
17She's not being censored. Radio stations are not playing the song because they don't wish to. Censoring would be the government not allowing the song to appear anywhere nor heard anywhere. That is not the case. The song is on her album and it IS getting airplay, just not where she wants it to get airplay. There's no freedom of speech being violated here, just media outlets preferring not to play her song, which is well within THEIR rights.
18I have never seen her look so good. I would love to see her clothing style go more hippy-chic. It softens her hard edges in a very flattering way. That dress looks great on her!

19"Don't f*ck with me fellas...this ain't my first time at the rodeo."
she looks like she stole Ed Grimley's hair style
20she has such a fab body!! she must exercise like a demon.. I haven' heard this song, but I give points for speaking out, considering all the backlash against the Dixie Chicks, right?
21I Just think Pink should be president ,since all these celbes know so much....
22Why are you people so uptight? You try posting hundreds of blog posts daily, I'd love to see how well you do.
23I heard Pink sing this live and it was a great song. I think Padraigin is right about the no airplay vs. censorship issue. Her dress is cute btw.
She looks great

They showed you who they really are, now believe them!
i agree with pad on this one. most radio stations are not going to play a song that aligns themselves one way or another for on a political view but eminems anti war song did get more airplay then this one, i wonder why....
25why is it harder to believe keith richards didnt snort his father?
OMG she looks CUTE...I never thought I would say that...
26I would like to hear the song..than I would like to hear her solution.
27its a great song. and im not even a huge pink fan. that dress is damn cute though...
28she looks great & I love that dress!
29I've always kinda liked Pink...
omg I love love love that dress!!!
..If you see us in the club we'll be acting real nice
30if you see us on the floor you'll be watchin all night..
Who makes her dress? Anyone know?
31what ever happened to the freedom of expression...reminds me of the time the dixie chicks didn't celebrate GW Bush.. Gosh, just let her sing..she has a right to express how she feels..
32I love PInk, but I don't believe that she's being censtored. I think the stations aren't playing her new song because its not what they're used to coming from Pink or not what their listeners want to hear. Who knows? Most of the celebs are very local about their politics. Why would they single Pink out? Doesn't make sense to me.
33I'm glad she is using her celebrity to speak out on serious issues, but I agree with everyone who said that it is the prerogative of the radio stations on what they want to play. Plus, I agree with OC on the grammatical errors...

Zing!!
I'm not a fan
35I love that dress , I would love to find that dress or one similiar.....
36Her dress is nice.
37hmm shes ok i guess
38I love Pink. She's genuine and a great artist too! Ellen D. finds her 'smart.'
39I love how ballsy Pink is!
"Aint nobody out there swift like this."
40I wonder why people get pissed when a mistake is pointed out. I didn't make fun of anyone, just tried to contribute to the quality of the site, but maybe you should change it back to "sensored" so Kelly O doesn't feel bad.
41haha that's funny. i like that song.
42Man, do I love Pink! Her song rocks, just like she does. And, I just bought a dress like the one she's wearing this weekend (except mine is cream with brown belt details).
43luv that song
44Agreed with the folks who insist it's not censorship. That's a stupid word to use and it's totally like her to make a big deal out of something like that. She tries too hard to pretend it's all about the 'art' and people wouldn't let her be who she is on her first album...if she feels compromised she does't have to keep making trite pop music with a mask of cultural relevance.
45She does look good in those pictures though...for her.
I have not heard this song but she has a song on the album called Who Knew.....I love it! It comes on during the credits of October Road which BTW is my new obsession on Thursdays! LOL! Pink is cool though, we share the same bday!
46I love PINK and that song too. Her hubby is a cutie. Yeah right..we have freedom of speech..but you can't speak about the truth of our society. Only then will they try to censor you. Wake up people.
47Uh, I think I seriously missed something. I'll have to listen to the song but I think it's mostly about ratings as to why that happened.
