Kate Hudson was out in NYC with her son Ryder this weekend. They picked up a Darth Vader mask and some coffee on the cold day. We know Kate has finally cut Ryder's hair but it's still very long and in fact it's almost just like Mommy's. I can understand the parents are hippies/rockers but I am just not a fan of Ryder's hair. I would love to see what he looks like without his face covered by his long locks all the time.

I like Ryder's hair. And I thinkhe looks really cute. She dresses him like a boy and I think he looks like one.

I think he's really cute! Given the choice between a bowl cut and this, I'd take this any day. 
Besides, a ridiculous number of kids this age are sporting little Maddox mohawks these days. Ryder actually has something a little different
going on. I wouldn't want it for my son, but I think it fits them.
The poor kid...it really comes across like "I wish I had a girl..." and btw, I have 2 kids & my daughter's hair is that length (they are abt the same age) believe me it's no picnic brushing long hair on a 3 year old.

I can understand people not digging the hair for a boy, but IMO it doesn't come across like "I wish I had a girl..." anymore than her marrying Chris (who has hair just like this) came across as "I wish I was marrying a girl..." You know? JMO.

I am so confused by these celebrities who appear to be in good shape and who exercise and preach this hippie, environmental lifestyle and then are seen chain-smoking and downing caffiene by the bucket load. WTF?

my little nephew's whole attitude changed once his mom cut his hair - poor kid made to look like a little rocker. As if he doesn't have enough time later on to be an adult.

I think he's a cutie either way, and I love Kate. But I think Ryder's hair is just too long for a boy that age. JMO, but I believe I would have cut it shorter. Hey, whatever!

He's nobody's kid but Kate's and if she's got no problem with his hair, why should I. She's a good mom and I don't see why with some people, long hair on her boy seems to be some kind of insinuation she's not a good mom.

I think it's cute when the mom's let their sons hair grow out when their babies. She can cut it in a few years when he's ready for school or something.

I don't really know why his hair length is such a big deal. This is no different than Maddox's mohawk, or a parent dressing their child a certain way. It's just their preference.
