Remembering Paul Newman
Directorial Debut
In 1967 Paul made his directorial debut in Rachel Rachel, as well as producing the film. The movie received rave reviews and was nominated for four Oscars including best picture and Paul as best producer. The film was a family affair — Paul's wife Joanne played the lead actress.
