I feel bad for her daughter, Ava. Both of her parents have gotten DUIs in the past year or so. I guess now we know why Heather went to rehab.

OK Heather looks just like my sister-in-law either before or after she experienced a major manic episode. My s-i-l cannot function when she's coming down from a manic streak or when the bi-polar meds really take effect.

And I'm not saying Heather is bi-polar, I'm just saying that her sad dazed look reminds me of of s-i-l during the really bad times.

I feel badly for Heather no matter what is wrong. I cannot believe that that the SB police department would stoop so low as to release her photo to the media. SB is a haven for celebs and they never released some other celebs photos who they busted for DUI.

That sux - I don't think we can lay any blame on her yet, you never know if you're gonna have an adverse reaction to medication. I was prescribed Ambien once and rather than fall asleep I started hallucinating and having all types of crazy ideas.

Has anyone noticed that the police in CA (can't speak for each and every one of 'em but particularly southern CA) always let the movie stars go after an infraction? Very rarely are any ever given jail time...they just go back to rehab multiple times.

i saw this on TV last night and about hit the floor - i just does not seem to be like her to do this, but then again, lately she's really not been herself - with the stint w/ depression in rehab and all that. i really do hope for her sake that she gets this all sorted out and that she gets her life back together. i really kind of feel like this all started as a result of the divorce and that's kind of scary.

When I saw this on the news last night I told my DH I thought she looked like she'd been crying, def not drunk. I had no idea she was battling depression. I hate that they released this photo -- the average Joe/Jane who gets taken in on suspicion of DUI doesn't have their face plastered everywhere do they? I hope she gets the help she needs, I'd hate to hear of further tragedy due to misdiagnosis or wrong meds... (crikey I'm not even a HL fan!)

Opiates constrict your pupils, making them like pin dots. Ever hear the term "pin eyed" referring to someone high on heroin? I don't know of any recreational drugs that dilate them. Anyone?
