I thought about this for a long time before actually posting anything about it. Normally I just let things fly and don't think about anything.
Until I read the comment: "hmmm....maybe the editors should have chosen the winner...feels more like a popularity contest..."

I am almost offended.

Here's my reaction:
hmmm... maybe the editors should have done a word count, since one finalist is actually over the stated 300 word limit.
hmmm... maybe the editors should have only allowed one entry per contestant.

But let me get back to why I'm almost offended. It's not a popularity contest. It's a contest based on talent. I'm only ALMOST offended, and not fully offended, because I'm not going to apologize or feel bad for having made some friends here on PopSugar.com. But, I like to think that those who voted for me voted that way because they felt my entry was the best.

And I thank them for that.
