Last week, Ellen DeGeneres used her blog to speak out against CA Proposition 8, but last night she switched gears to host a party with Portia de Rossi in support of Prop 2. Tobey Maguire, Jared Leto and Amy Smart were just a few of the celebs that came out to support the Proposition regarding treatment of farm animals. Ellen's doing her part to stay politically active before the elections in November, but she's also been enjoying her life as a newlywed. Ellen and Portia seem blissfully in love as ever, and hopefully these ladies will still be smiling no matter what happens come election day.

3this is a proposition that most people don't know about so i guess it could be a good thing to bring to the forefront - it's always good to see that there are celebs that are willing to add their support to the cause, and i'm always a sucker for a Jared Leto appearance.
