I really didn't think it was ever going to happen, but like others said it is a good sign that they did it on the DL. That hopefully means it was something they really wanted to do and was special to them.

No, I wasn't surprised because I don't know them so I really can't say. I think it's hilarious that people act like they know what's going on in celebrities lives. Come on, you see them in pictures or on TV/Movies every now and then, that's all. You don't know how them personally.

I absolutely love Scarlett, but I am not too fond of Ryan Reynolds. I don't even have a good reason for it. She's too talented, beautiful, and interesting for him. I thought they would call it off. Poor Alanis!

I'm surprised that they got married so quickly after getting engaged because it didn't seem like Scarlett would be the type of person to settle down so quickly. If it weren't any other couple, I would say that the quickie marriage was due to pregnancy but I don't think that would be the case for them.

If this will last beyond 3-4 years (or should I say 1-2), I'll take my hat off to both of them.

BTW, if Scarlett continues being so much more successful than Ryan, it is another factor that will work against them.(has he ever been in a serious movie? I just remember him as a dude from some stupid TV show about two guys and a girl)
