Kate Winslet picked up her kids, Mia and Joe, from school in NYC yesterday along with her ex-husband and Mia's dad, Jim Threapleton. It's great to see that Kate's on good terms with her former flame, but the reunion everyone is talking about is with Leonardo DiCaprio in the intense looking Revolutionary Road. Their film will be released just in time for award season, but there is more of Kate coming our way when her period romance The Reader comes out on December 12.

she is one of my absolute favorites! and its always nice when parents are able to be adults and stay on good terms for the kids! she and kate beckingsdale are good at that.. even kate hudson too. must be in the name!

i just saw the trailer for Revolutionary Road during the Mad Men episode on Sunday. it looks intense and amazing. one of my all-time favorite books, i can't wait to see the film version with those 2.

i always love to see that exes are able to be friendly even if it's just for the sake of their kids. it really does set a good example for their children. as for the reunion on screen, i can't say that i'm really excited about it - since i'm not the biggest leo fan....
