Gwyneth has got the acting bug again. After more than a 2 year break she is ready to make a comeback. She made some funny quotes in this months Harper's Bazaar. I particularly like the one about Nicole Richie. Sounds like Gwyneth reads the tabloids as well. Here's more:
"I had no spark for work, but I feel the feeling back. And I'm excited about the prospect. I want to do something kind of fun. I don't want to do anything depressing or mad. I want to do a really great, funny, weird character."
For Paltrow, parenting is "a total joy" and a major time commitment.
"I do not know how single mothers have more than one child with no help," she tells the magazine. "It requires so much of my life, and I don't have to change sheets and clean toilets, you know."
"I just hope the whole paparazzi thing continues in the way it's been going, which is with less interest in people like me and more interest in people like Nicole Richie who I think is an excellent dresser, by the way," Paltrow says.
"She's supercute. It's really fair that the press attention goes to those who want it and court it. I think that's great."

28You're right about print interviews, I don't trust them. I like to see the person and hear them. I never even liked Gwyneth, but I liked her alot more after seeing her on a couple shows, so I don't know.
29I can't stand this woman. Even in LIVE interviews she comes off as a complete stuck up ass. She is overrated in her acting ability with her only talent to play shades of the same character. It works for Nicholson and Pacino--but fishsticks isn't a cult of personality like they are. If I have to see her furrowed brow with her mouth hanging open in consternation, her signature look, one more time I will scream. Which is why I avoid fishstick's movies. I would have loved "Sliding Doors" if it weren't for that creature.

I like her. I think the mistake she makes is, well, talking about things besides her movies. She ends up coming off as a pretentious snot. And she is. The girl hasn't had to work hard for anything in her life. She grew up with rich and famous parents. She went to a private schools. She went on great, exotic, expensive holidays. She had 'the spoils.' So when she talks, you have to keep in mind that she's lived a sheltered life by normal standards. That's not to justify anything that she says or does as being right or wrong, but you really just have to, basically, ignore anything she says. Like Paris Hilton. Same life, but different, you know? Nobody takes anything Paris says seriously, so why do people take anything Gwyneth says seriously?

The comment about mothers, I think, is a compliment to those who have their hands full. And, in all honesty, if I had the money these ladies had, I would not clean my house to save my life. I can't imagine hiring a nanny. But cleaning? That's a chore.
This girl is so self absorbed that I don't think she has the first clue about how other people might hear her. Nor do I believe she really cares.
