Yes, I think Johnny Depp is super hot ... What makes him hot is his laidback attitude, his cool style of dressing and his non-chalant, "It is what it is" ... He seems so unaffected by Hollywood and so carefree ... The bohemian, relaxed look is so him ! Imagine if he was still with hot-mess Kate, Lord ... He saved himself by ditching her.

I'm not that crazy over him either. He's cute but not really my type. He is an awesome actor though. Him & Tim Burton are a great combo that can do no wrong.

With two big draws like these, it's almost certain to be a hit before it even plays on the big screen. Depp is awesome. If you saw "Finding Neverland" you would know how versatile and subtle his performances can be. And Burton is hit or miss but his collaborations with Depp are usually great. At this point, I've already reserved a seat at the Arc-light.

Jen, Like Water for Chocolate is SUCH a good book! Have you read it? I made the mistake of renting the movie w/ the English dubbing and it was totally distracting. I meant to get the one with subtitles. It's not at all like Chocolat. TOTALLY different story.

Pink, "The Libertine" was complete crap. Seriously, don't waste time or money on it. Johnny Depp looks hideous in it, too. It's not even good for drooling.

Chocolat is still one of only a dozen movies that have made it into my personal DVD collection. For me, it doesn't get any better than J. Depp. No. Not even Joaquin.

I love Chocolat, it's such a quaint, sweet movie. And who could resist gypsy Johnny.

In his younger days he was too pretty for me but as he ages I think he has become quite a versatile actor. I am so classless that I had never heard of Sweeny Todd until I saw the Movie "Jersey Girl" with Ben Affleck. Now I'd actually like to see the movie!
