Shenae Grimes headed to Best Buy in LA yesterday, followed by her new best friends, the paparazzi. We're already getting used to seeing the starlet daily, though most of you are over 90210 with just the new cast and the show's already been canceled in Australia. The cast recently talked to LA Confidential about their likes and dislikes where Shenae revealed her icon is Natalie Portman and talked about what it was like to land the part of Annie Wilson. She said, "Complete shock.... it seemed like a fairly unattainable goal for a girl from Toronto, so when I got the call it took about an hour of pacing around the house for it to settle in." It's nice to hear her humble side, though rumor has it that her head is getting a little inflated already from all the attention.

I really liked her on Degrassi and think she is really adorable. But the characters on the new 9 leave a lot to improve on.

2i thought she was amazing on degrassi. they took her character very far so i am not surprised she got the role of annie on 90210. even though its a terrible show.

6i'm usually not one to complain on who popsugar posts on, but i'm not getting the new interest in this girl. she's certainly not a celebrity and i'm not sure why paparazzi are suddenly taking her picture ?? more importantly i'm not sure who would actually pay MONEY for these photographs.
7i love that dress! as for the new interest that people have in her - who knows. i was so excited when i heard that she was on the show since i've always watched degrassi but i'm over her.

11I love her dress! Yep cancelled in Australia until the non ratings period. It was on at a really bad time competing with bigger shows. They should have just moved it to a different time slot on a different day.

15I'm very disappointed in the new 90210. I feel the acting is just not good the majority of the time. The chest bones here are very disturbing!
16I don't understand about the interest about this girl either. And she looks ugly as hell and a bad actress. And now thanks to the paparazzi maybe she thinks she's the next best thing.
